I’ve been working in the food service industry for the past 25+ years, enjoying the challenges in 4-star Hotels, Country Clubs and a private lodge in Alaska.   During the past eight years, I’ve catered for events that have added to these memories - BBQ in the middle of an alpaca field, preparing food for 5000 for an International Air Show (Hillsboro, OR) and providing cooking classes for small parties in client’s homes.  Catering, at its best, makes each event new and exciting!


Over the years, I’ve been honored on numerous occasions with awards from the American Culinary Federation:

Kelly Hoeppner   Catering Director
It takes an eye for fine detail to coordinate events well.   25 years ago, I began by designing the gowns for brides as well as coordinate the details surrounding the occasion.   The events grew in size and complexity as I took on designing displays and planning events for both county and regional fairs.


While putting myself through college (BFA from Oregon College of Art & Craft), I began work in catering, finding a comfortable fit for my previous experience and artistic presentation.   Outside of catering, I still contribute to the arts as Resident Costume / Prop Designer at Miracle Theatre in Portland, Or.   These themes - event coordinating, design and theme of space - have come full circle from my early years of pinning silk and lace.
